About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Discuss patient symptoms and gather information for medical records
  • Take vital signs, administer injections, and perform diagnostic tests
  • Collect specimens, draw blood, and sterilize equipment
  • Maintain examination rooms and collaborate with physicians and nurses
  • Deliver direct patient care and make decisions based on area/department policy and methods
Requirements
  • 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in direct patient care
  • Current CPR certification
  • Less than 2 years of leadership experience
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with MS Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual
  • Hands-on professional Phlebotomy experience
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • Experience with HEDIS
