Role Responsibilities:
This position operates independently to provide physical therapy services, either through referrals or direct patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting patient evaluations and creating tailored treatment plans.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with established standards.
- Meeting productivity benchmarks set by the organization, focusing on access to care and quality metrics.
- Contributing to program development to address patient and community needs.
- Adapting interactions to suit diverse patient populations, ensuring respect for privacy and effective communication.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
Licensure: A current physical therapy license in the state of practice is mandatory, or eligibility for licensure through examination or reciprocity from another state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
