Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team at Plumas District Hospital. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in facilitating the day-to-day operations of our Toddler Program, ensuring a safe, happy, and positive environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all aspects of the Toddler Classroom, ensuring compliance with Community Care Licensing and Title 22 Regulations.
  • Supervise and provide feedback to teacher aides and classroom volunteers.
  • Participate in professional growth activities throughout the year.
  • Research, create, and implement age-appropriate principles, practices, and curriculum for children ages 18-36 months.
  • Complete daily lesson plans and updates lessons depending on specific goals for children in their care.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 completed core semester units of early childhood education/development and enrolled in at least 2 semester units at a college until fully qualified.
  • 6 months experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program.
  • Knowledge of Title 22 Regulations, planning and implementing curriculum for children ages 18-36 months, and current principles and practices of early childhood education in a play-based, family-centered program.
