About the Role

The Visit Facilitator plays a vital role in supporting in-person clinic visits, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and providers alike. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for appointments by communicating with them prior to their visit and ensuring medical records are collected and ready for the visit.
  • Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Act as a vital link between patients and providers, ensuring a great experience for all parties involved.
  • Complete visit wrap-up with patients, providing them with an after-visit summary and recommendations for follow-up.
Requirements
  1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Graduate of a Nursing Aide program, Emergency Medical Technical (EMT) program, and/or Health Unit Coordinator program.
  3. BLS Certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire and maintain certification.
  4. Minimum of 1-year customer service experience required, with previous health care customer service experience preferred.
  5. Proficient with technology, including computer hardware and programs, and smart devices such as phones and tablets.
  6. Great verbal communication skills and strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  7. Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality and maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
