Transportation Logistics Coordinator

Voltage LLC is seeking a skilled Transportation Logistics Specialist to manage and coordinate transportation activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will analyze data, collaborate with stakeholders, and maintain efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and oversee transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Negotiate rates and ensure service quality with transportation companies and transloading facilities.
- Analyze transportation data and metrics to identify trends and improve processes.
- Address and resolve transportation-related issues, including delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including shipments, costs, and RFQs.
- Provide timely information on shipment status and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and control transportation costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Create shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing slips, and shipping labels.
- Maintain accurate outbound documentation in the ERP system.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- 2+ years of Logistics/Transportation experience required.
- Associates Degree required.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability for accuracy.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with multiple partners and peers.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
Classification: Non-Exempt
Employment Status: Full Time
Work EnvironmentWork is performed in an office environment. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Overtime may be necessary, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
