**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
* Direct the surveillance, remediation, and reporting of infections
* Develop program goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, regulatory, and ethical requirements
* Plan, organize, and direct activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education initiatives
* Prepare budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding
