Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer plays a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring that our business practices align with our mission to advance the quality of care. This position requires a strong leader who can manage a diverse team and drive financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial, accounting, and related reporting procedures and internal controls.
  • Supervise the annual 401k audit and external financial review.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement accounting and operational policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Participate in financial decision-making as an integral senior management team member.
  • Provide information, insight, and guidance on financial issues in the clinics and surgery centers.
  • Manage payroll, purchasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, finance, and general accounting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax authorities and government regulators.
  • Manage insurance coverages, including D&O, malpractice, general, property, cyber, etc.
  • Supervise the preparation of all financial reporting to regulatory parties.
  • Attend finance committee meetings and present the current fiscal situation.
  • Prepare and manage organizational budgets.
  • Balance company program and budget goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Master's degree in business, healthcare management, or related field required.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 5-10 years senior level management experience leading teams in a private practice healthcare organization.
  • Ability to lead a diverse staff group toward financial and operational goals.
  • Strong leadership skills, proven business acumen, and strong people management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, superior Excel skills, and ability to learn other software applications readily.
