We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at PACE Southeast Michigan. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will implement the Nutrition Care Process, conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments and providing evidence-based interventions.

  1. You will work closely with participants to identify malnutrition, morbid obesity, and food insecurity, developing individualized goals for those with complex medical conditions.
  2. Through a thorough assessment process, you will identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Nutrition Diagnostic Process

  1. As a Registered Dietitian, you will utilize screening tools, medical history, laboratory data, and diet history to assess nutritional risk factors.
  2. You will then document the diagnostic statement in PES (problem, etiology, and signs/symptoms) format, outlining the identified patterns and possible causes for the nutrition problem.

Nutrition Education and Counseling

  1. You will develop an individualized nutrition plan, focusing on the etiology of the problem, nutrient requirements, knowledge, and abilities are assessed, and personalized nutrition education and counseling are provided.

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
