Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Benefits Specialist to join our team in Fremont, CA. This is a fully onsite position that requires strong knowledge of payroll practices, tax laws, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.
  • Ensure timely processing of payroll for the organization, including accurate and timely processing of weekly multi-state payroll.
  • Develop and maintain payroll processes, procedures, and documentation, and develop internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hire, termination, and leave of absence paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll and benefits matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience processing payroll for 500+ manufacturing or non-exempt employees.
  • 5 years' experience in benefit administration.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. benefits-related laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now and UKG Pro.
