Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate and develop comprehensive project scopes and budgets.
  • Ensure timely completion of all project tasks within budget constraints.
  • Monitor and communicate project updates to stakeholders and team members.
  • Prepare and manage change orders and contract modifications.
  • Identify and address potential project risks.
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors as necessary.
  • Utilize innovative problem-solving skills to address project challenges.
  • Maintain high standards in all interactions with team members, vendors, and clients.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project management staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience in California or equivalent combination.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Experience with complex entitlement processes and CEQA.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to learn about all facets of development and construction.
  • Familiarity with development-related software such as Smart Sheet, Microsoft Project, or Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical reports, construction drawings, and municipal regulations.
  • Experience with construction permitting is a plus.
