Our Environmental Planner 2 role plays a crucial part in this mission, working on a wide variety of environmental documentation projects.

Key responsibilities include conducting environmental research, writing documents, evaluating potential project impacts, and devising mitigating measures.

Under the supervision of a Senior Environmental Planner or Environmental Project Manager, this position will be responsible for research and preparation of CEQA and NEPA documents, including coordination with environmental specialists preparing technical reports to be integrated into project deliverables.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or a closely related field, a minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and design, AICP certification, proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, extensive graphics and report document production experience, experience with GIS, strong oral and written communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

The expected compensation range for this position is $76,000 - $113,000, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
