Job Title: EPC Environmental Compliance Project Manager

Description

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations for the construction of Solar PV and BESS plants. The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering team to review project owner-provided due diligence documents and verify requirements for incorporation into project design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret regulatory requirements applicable to specific activities, including state and local jurisdictional requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  • Support the generation and review of environmental reports and permits, including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plans (SPCC).
  • Develop and implement site-specific environmental plans and implementation checklists for use during construction.
  • Conduct periodic on-site audits of environmental compliance for assigned projects.
  • Represent the EHSQ team by attending and coordinating meetings with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to update and advise on environmental requirements and conditions for projects.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience identifying, fulfilling, and implementing environmental compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Studies, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Federal Environmental Regulations (CWA, CAA, RCRA, etc.).
  • Proven ability to extract and interpret regulatory requirements applicable to specific activities.
  • General experience in air, waste, and water permitting and compliance required.

Working Conditions:

  • Regular professional, office business setting.
  • Noise level ranges from low to moderate (if in office setting).
  • Noise level ranges from moderate to high (if on construction worksite).

Salary Range:

The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000 base salary per year.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job's minimum qualifications.
