Position Summary

The Adolescent Medicine Physician at Children's Minnesota is a key member of our multidisciplinary team, working closely with medical and mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care to adolescents. Our care model integrates psychosocial care into all aspects of healthcare delivery, ensuring that each patient receives holistic support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary and secondary healthcare services to a diverse patient population, including well adolescent care, LGBTQ care, medical management of eating disorders and chronic illnesses, and sexual and reproductive health services.
  • Collaborate with 60+ pediatric subspecialties to provide comprehensive and integrated patient care.
  • Opportunities for teaching resident and medical students, as well as educational leadership and advocacy initiatives.
  • Participate in additional specialized care based on interests, including gender health, sexual and reproductive health, eating disorders, and potentially addiction medicine.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO with a current Minnesota Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
  • Board certification/eligible by American Board of Pediatrics in Adolescent Medicine and General Pediatrics.
