About the Job

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Water and Sewer System Technician II to join our team in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in investigative tasks on various sewer and water studies, including water distribution system leak detection and hydraulic flow measurements, sewer system infiltration and inflow investigations, and illicit discharge detection projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and formulate cost-effective, technical solutions to client problems on assigned projects.
  • Perform routine duties, including assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Collaborate with other groups across AECOM offices to provide quality service to clients and to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED + 2 Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Previous Engineering Technician experience.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Water Treatment, Water Mains, and Conveyance infrastructure.
