Badger Meter is a leading global water technology company, dedicated to preserving and protecting the world's most precious resource. We're seeking a skilled Verification Engineer II to join our team at our Global HQ in Milwaukee, WI.

About the Role

This is an onsite role that will focus on investigating product returns and identifying solutions using failure analysis. As a Verification Engineer II, you will work independently with little oversight, receiving general direction from a more senior engineer, supervisor, or manager. You will collaborate closely with Quality, Design Engineering, and Systems Monitoring teams to lead and execute in-depth investigations of returned products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate product returns and identify solutions using failure analysis
  • Work with hardware, data, and software to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead and execute investigations
  • Document results and actions, composing reports, presentations, and summaries
  • Present findings to peers, cross-functional teams, and all levels of management
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, reliability, quality, or returns-processing of products
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field with a solid foundation of engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with electronic test equipment, statistics, analysis, and data organization
