Electrical Engineer II

Parker Aerospace, a leading producer of flight control, hydraulic, fuel and inerting, fluid conveyance, thermal management, and engine systems and components for the aerospace industry, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our team.
Job Summary:The Electrical Engineer II will provide technical support for all phases of product development, from research design through production. This includes designing, testing, maintaining, and improving electronic components or products, as well as solving technical problems using a combination of experience, judgment, and precedents.
Responsibilities:- Provides Electrical Engineering expertise for a range of activities, including designing, testing, maintaining, and improving electronic components or products.
- Solves technical problems using a combination of experience, judgment, and precedents.
- Requirements definition for design development.
- Applies expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering in various aspects of the development of components and control systems.
- Works in the Engineering lab and on the manufacturing floor to implement solutions for a variety of electrical products.
- Prepares a range of reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Communicates complex technical information to others in a clear and effective manner in conversation and during internal and external presentations.
- Uses discretion and independent judgment when evaluating courses of action; makes decisions after considering various options.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering required. A Master Degree or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, including Analog Circuit, design, analysis, testing and troubleshooting of Power Electronics topologies and devices as well as Electric Machines from the Electrical perspective.
- Advanced knowledge of Electrical Engineering, especially analog circuits, power electronics, and electro-magnetic concepts for electric machines and the ability to apply power analysis methods to circuits, electrical components and systems, including electric machines, and/or the willingness to learn.
- Excellent ability to apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to explain a range of complex technical information, in various areas within Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
