Electrical Engineer II Job Description

Parker Aerospace, a leading producer of flight control, hydraulic, fuel and inerting, fluid conveyance, thermal management, and engine systems and components for the aerospace industry, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join their team.

The successful candidate will provide technical support for all phases of product development, from research design through production, applying expertise in both electrical and electronic engineering in various aspects of the development of components, topologies, control systems, and electricity and magnetism concepts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, testing, maintaining, and improving electronic components or products
  • Solving technical problems using a combination of experience, judgment, and precedents
  • Requirements definition for design development
  • Applying expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering in various aspects of the development of components and control systems
  • Working in the Engineering lab and on the manufacturing floor to implement solutions for a variety of electrical products
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Communicating complex technical information to others in a clear and effective manner
  • Using discretion and independent judgment when evaluating courses of action

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering required
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, including Analog Circuit design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of Power Electronics topologies and devices as well as Electric Machines from the Electrical perspective
  • Advanced knowledge of Electrical Engineering, especially analog circuits, power electronics, and electro-magnetic concepts for electric machines and the ability to apply power analysis methods to circuits, electrical components, and systems
