Job Title: Senior Compliance Manager - Real Estate

At Invesco, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas or New York, New York. As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of our real estate business with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

About the Role:

The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, and monitoring processes, policies, and practices for compliance with regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Reporting on a regular basis to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), senior members of legal and compliance, and business senior management on the progress of implementation.
  • Periodically revising the program in light of changes in the needs of the organization, including the broader alternatives platform, and in the law and policies and procedures surrounding RIAs and real estate/alternatives firms.
  • Developing, coordinating, and participating in a multifaceted educational and training program that focuses on the elements of the compliance program.
  • Coordinating an internal risk assessment, monitoring, and testing program and working with business partners to address findings and observations.
  • Preparing certain filings for IRE and other businesses, such as Forms ADV and PF.
  • Independently investigating and acting on matters related to compliance and coordinating any resulting corrective actions.
  • Coordinating with Invesco Ltd.'s internal audit department to identify potential controls to audit and assisting that team in their review efforts, as needed.
  • Undertaking special compliance-related projects assigned by the CCO and other senior compliance personnel.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 8 years of Financial Services Industry Experience, with four years of direct investment adviser compliance experience.
  • Experience with real estate strongly preferred, with a depth of experience with respect to private alternatives products.
  • Compliance experience with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 required.
  • Broad knowledge of federal securities laws and regulations.
  • BA/BS degree in a related field, with an MBA or JD a plus.
