Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 per year, plus commission
SYSTEMSEVEN is seeking a professional and self-motivated sales representative to build relationships, network, and introduce SYSTEMSEVEN to new potential customers every day. This person will represent SYSTEMSEVEN at local chamber and networking events. This person will focus first on building long-term relationships that allow us to show our personality, offer consulting, and ultimately sell our telecommunications and IT services to potential clients that fit SYSTEMSEVEN's culture and vision.
This person will be smart, engaging, and have a history of lead generation and sales development. They will be excellent communicators with an air of approachable authenticity and professionalism. This person will be endlessly positive, exuding energy and effort. Strong written and verbal communication skills that naturally build up and affirm those around them, are a must. This person will understand SYSTEMSEVEN's purpose, vision, and values, be motivated by these concepts, and be the physical representation of these ideals to potential clients in many kinds of situations.
This position will be central to our operation and involved with all departments. They will work hand in hand with Marketing, managing and maintaining campaigns to improve our branding, track useful data, improve products and pricing, and ultimately improve the quantity and quality of Marketing and Sales Qualified Leads. They will work directly with Service Delivery and Customer Experience to help effectively manage new customers' journeys through onboarding and life cycle benchmarks. This person will also be involved with Finance, projecting revenue growth and reporting on revenue realization.

Responsibilities
- Always represent SYSTEMSEVEN in a down-to-earth, professional manner
- Understand and be able to communicate SYSTEMSEVEN's products and services
- Introduce SYSTEMSEVEN to multiple potential customers every day
- Develop and advance new client opportunities
- Work with our Technology Success Manager to structure and present solutions to clients
- Be active in representing SYSTEMSEVEN in the communities we serve
- Utilize CRM and other software tools to plan and track your work and your sales funnel
- Provide data and feedback to other departments to facilitate improvements
- Achieve quarterly recurring and non-recurring sales goals
- Build partnerships with other companies to generate mutually beneficial leads and sources
- Position SYSTEMSEVEN as a helpful resource in the marketplace as our primary tactic to gain new business
Required Experience
- 3 years in Account Management, Inside Sales, or Outside Sales role
- Additional 3 years customer service experience
- Experience using CRM systems
- Demonstrable professional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
- 5+ years of successful quota-carrying sales experience
- Prior MSP and/or IT sales experience
