TOTE Resources LLC seeks an Accounting and Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payrolls for multiple companies across various states, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
  • Compile, record, and process payroll data, including employee time and labor records
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, interacting with supervisors and tax agencies as needed
  • Develop and run payroll reports from ADP, analyze data, and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Create and maintain process documentation and training materials
  • Support audit requests and perform verifications of employment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; two-year accounting degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of payroll experience; ADP and Concur experience a plus
  • Union payroll experience a plus; skilled with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent customer service skills, detail-oriented, and ability to pivot from tasks as needed
  • Enjoy problem-solving and finding the root cause

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $38,300 - $67,100, with an estimated hiring range of $45,000 - $55,000 based on education, experience, location, and job duties. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, employee assistance program, 401(k) with company match and discretionary funding, tuition reimbursement, supplemental parental leave, jury duty, and bereavement leave.
