Job Responsibilities:

The Interventional Radiographer is responsible for performing angiographic procedures, including invasive vascular treatments, ensuring optimal image quality through a range of technical and non-technical tasks.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Executing various interventional procedures with a focus on achieving high-quality imaging.
  • Accurately entering charges into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and maintaining accountability for billing as per administrative policies.
  • Participating in on-call duties as required.
  • Adhering to Radiation Safety guidelines as per established policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • License/Certification: Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Registry-eligible candidates must obtain ARRT certification within 90 days of employment. A valid State of Ohio Radiological License is required. CI or CV registry is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in diagnostic radiography is preferred, with experience in angiography, cardiac catheterization, or surgical settings being advantageous.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
