Position Summary:
As a Residential Program Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and actively participate in their communities. Your support will focus on enhancing their autonomy and overall well-being.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Your Impact:
In this position, you will assist individuals with disabilities in various essential areas, including:
- Engaging in the individual planning process for each person served
- Collaborating with care teams and facilitating meetings
- Encouraging participation in hobbies and recreational activities
- Assisting with meal planning, shopping, and cooking
- Coordinating medical appointments and administering medications
- Supporting the development of independent living skills
- Providing education on safety, apartment maintenance, budgeting, and self-advocacy
- Supervising a team of Direct Support Professionals
- Training staff on health and support needs to promote independence
- Managing staffing schedules to meet support requirements
- Working with the program manager on staff training and coaching
Qualifications:

- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Qualifications as a Designated Coordinator (details below)
Designated Coordinator Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and one year of direct care experience with individuals with disabilities or vulnerable populations.
- An associate degree in a relevant field and two years of direct care experience.
- A diploma in a relevant field and three years of direct care experience.
- A minimum of 50 hours of relevant education and training along with four years of direct care experience under qualified supervision.
