Position Overview:

Compensation:
$24.00/hr DOE
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Property Manager in various facets of property oversight, focusing on tenant engagement, lease management, and maintenance scheduling.
Address tenant inquiries, grievances, and requests promptly and courteously. Evaluate lease applications, perform background checks, and draft lease contracts. Organize move-in and move-out processes, including inspections, documentation, and unit readiness. Keep precise records of tenant data, lease contracts, rent collections, and maintenance requests. Collect rent and follow up on overdue accounts. Schedule and supervise property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and quality completion. Conduct routine property inspections to verify adherence to housing regulations and standards. Assist in formulating and executing property budgets and financial reports. Coordinate resident events and initiatives to foster community engagement. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing laws and policies. Aid in resolving tenant disputes and take necessary actions when required. Prepare documentation and reports for audits and inspections. Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in property management, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

Demonstrated experience in property management, real estate, or a similar field. Strong understanding of housing laws, lease agreements, and property management practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to manage confidential information discreetly. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Capacity to work independently and collaboratively. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Certification in property management (e.g., CAM, CPM) is advantageous.

Compensation Details:
$20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
