Director of Operations

Haake Recruiting is seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to lead our restaurant group's Front-of-House (FOH) operations across multiple states. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality service and driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead FOH Teams: Hire, coach, and develop management teams across locations, ensuring excellence in service and operational consistency.
- Hands-on Leadership: Spend time on-site at each location, supporting and guiding teams through service shifts.
- Financial Management: Oversee P&L for each property, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial goals. Manage wage, food, and beverage costs to meet budgetary targets.
- Service Standards: Establish and maintain high standards for FOH operations, ensuring each location delivers a premium guest experience.
- Training & Development: Create and implement training programs to enhance team performance. Regularly evaluate staff and management to encourage growth and improvement.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies, financial controls, and legal requirements at all locations.
- Beverage Program Management: Oversee the group's beverage program, maintaining a balanced, profitable selection aligned with customer preferences and market trends.
- Customer-First Mentality: Prioritize guest satisfaction and product quality above all else, while ensuring financial goals are met.
- Decisive Leadership: Take initiative and responsibility, effectively resolving challenges and driving positive outcomes.
- Team-Focused: Lead by example, promoting collaboration and a positive working environment across teams.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment, quickly responding to operational needs and adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree: In hospitality or equivalent experience preferred.
- Senior Leadership Experience: 7+ years of senior leadership experience in hospitality, with multi-location oversight.
- Financial Management: 3+ years of full P&L management experience, with a proven ability to drive financial performance.
- Communication & Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general ease with financial systems.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Competitive Salary: Ranging from $150,000 to $190,000.
