Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Safety Administrator to join our team at Palmdale Oil Company LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling confidential information, building and maintaining Department of Transportation D.Q. Files, and assisting the Safety Manager with the DOT random drug and alcohol program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage confidential information and maintain accurate records
  • Build and maintain Department of Transportation D.Q. Files, both hard copy and digital
  • Assist the Safety Manager with the DOT random drug and alcohol program
  • Maintain Accident/Incident spreadsheet and Incident report files
  • Review Samsara driver violation videos and maintain accident files
  • Create spreadsheets with accident/incident trends
  • Assist safety director and safety manager in their daily activities
  • Add and delete drivers' information from existing files weekly
  • Maintain accurate information on safety incentive program daily and report to HR at months end
  • Maintain accurate information on injury incentive program daily and report to HR at months end
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
  • Strong leadership skills and quality focus
  • Problem-solving skills and Microsoft Office product knowledge
  • Understanding of commercial fleet documentation and industrial safety experience preferred
  • Preferred knowledge of OSHA/DOT/FMSCA and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • DOT/Fleet management experience preferred
