- Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with design standards and building codes.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
- Ensure that all construction activities adhere to established safety standards and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on architectural construction progress, issues, and solutions.
- Conduct post-construction evaluations to assess the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a closely related field, or extensive experience in construction administration.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural construction administration, with a focus on multi-family residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficient in using architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement effective solutions.
- Professional registration as an Architect or Construction Manager is preferred.
