In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Oversee first line risk and control management initiatives in alignment with regulatory and policy frameworks.
  • Identify and assess operational risks to facilitate informed decision-making by leadership.
  • Provide expert consultation and support for complex operational processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and self-evaluations.
  • Review and enhance the effectiveness of internal policies and controls.
  • Foster a strong risk culture by educating associates and leaders on risk management best practices.
  • Build relationships with risk experts across the organization to ensure a cohesive approach to operational risk.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant financial regulations.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication abilities.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, providing insights on regulatory challenges.
  • Contribute to team goals and support complex projects with regulatory insights.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, or related fields.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills.
