About the Role

The Sales/Catering Coordinator is a vital member of our Courtyard Fort Lauderdale team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Sales/Catering department. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can provide exceptional service to our guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales/Catering team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of marketing materials, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOS) and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain a high level of inventory of office supplies and ensure the smooth operation of the office.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, including greeting and assisting with their needs.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required by management.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work long hours and adapt to changing priorities.
