Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Area Supervisor to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a key member of our operations management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of services to our clients across various lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the provision of assistance to individuals served to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement activity schedules for individuals served and monitor staff to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Monitor labor hours and ensure assigned service sites operate within budgetary guidelines.
  • Responsible for client funds, receipts, and proper documentation.
  • Ensure staffing ratios are in compliance with regulatory and service plan requirements.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and provide feedback on staff documentation.
  • Assist with incident and accident reports and participate in investigations as needed.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Business, Health Care Administration, or a Social Science degree or equivalent work experience.
  • One year of supervisory experience required.
  • Previous experience providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or related disorders preferred.
  • Experience in managing systems, processes, and people.
