Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Porter to join our team at SP+ Corporation. As a Maintenance Porter, you will be responsible for performing facility maintenance duties and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Walk the garage daily to identify and correct any maintenance problems.
  • Sweep and pick up around entrances and exits, as well as clean surface area rails and other areas.
  • Empty trashcans and submit requests for repairs or maintenance.
  • Paint areas as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to maintain a neat and clean appearance.
  • Replace burned-out bulbs and apply oil absorbent to oil spills.
  • Check conditions of safety items, such as gate arms, and submit requests for repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Assist customers within the facility and resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and moving heavy objects. You must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a garage or parking facility, which may involve exposure to dust, chemicals, and extreme weather conditions. You must be able to work in a team environment and be flexible with your schedule.
