Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Sales Representative to join our team as an On-Site Service Specialist. This role will involve managing customer inventory, providing exceptional customer service, and driving account growth through our KeepStock program.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer inventory levels and ensure timely restocking
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues promptly
- Drive account growth through the KeepStock program and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with sales partners to expand Grainger's offerings and provide solutions to customers' MRO needs
- Follow designated routes and maintain route guides to ensure efficient service delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce cycle time
- Comply with safety and inspection requirements at customer sites
- Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs
- 3 years' experience in a sales or service environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 25 to 60lbs and work in difficult positions
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle technical and operational issues
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence
- Carry required levels of automobile insurance
- Paid time off (PTO) days and 6 company holidays per year
