Reporting To: National Account Manager
Position Summary:The Chain Account Manager for the retail sector at Fever-Tree USA Inc. serves as the primary liaison for retail clients utilizing UNFI and KeHe distribution channels. This role is pivotal in driving volume, revenue, and market share growth. The individual will oversee a targeted portfolio of retail chains, primarily located on the West Coast, to implement cohesive programs, promotional activities, new product introductions, and schematic recommendations. The manager will handle all aspects of daily account management in collaboration with our broker, Green Spoon, while ensuring effective communication of account strategies to the distributors responsible for execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Enhance volume and revenue within key accounts through data-driven sales techniques.
- Develop and communicate tailored programming plans, product assortments, innovative opportunities, and customer-specific initiatives aligned with the annual business strategy.
- Assist in managing advertising and promotional budgets, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and customer strategies to meet value targets.
- Utilize customer data and market trends, including insights from Nielsen, to identify and pursue business growth opportunities.
- Foster robust relationships with customers.
- Oversee the performance of the Green Spoon account management and regional merchandising teams.
- Collaborate with the strategy team on category management priorities.
- Account responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Berkeley Bowl, Bristol Farms, Cub Grocery, Goody Goody, Spartan Nash, Lazy Acres, New Leaf, ION Group, Rosauers, Natural Grocers, Vitamins Plus, & Metropolitan Market.
- Experience with UNFI & KeHe is essential.
- Broker management experience is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales within a consumer-packaged goods or beverage organization; at least 3 years of direct selling experience with Retail Key Accounts.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership and customer management capabilities; superior time management and multitasking skills; strong influencing skills to achieve alignment and commitments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and resolve issues effectively.
- Planning: Strong organizational skills; capable of managing multiple major projects simultaneously; self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time; must possess a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 45lbs regularly.
