Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager - Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Liberty Healthcare Management. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for supervising and coaching a team of Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coach assigned team members to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Communicate daily with the LMA team to identify needs and address problems.
  • Travel to assigned nursing facilities to provide coaching and support to clinicians and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement continuing education programs for providers and RNs.
  • Maintain and facilitate a comprehensive orientation program for new Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and RNs.
  • Serve as a mentor during the onboarding process.
  • Coach new providers and those not meeting expected outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on current HEDIS measures and educate providers on their importance.
  • Assist with collecting, compiling, and reporting of QI data.
  • Identify and track overall quality improvement activities through assessing plan metrics.
  • Support and promote organizational goals and objectives for clinical staff.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in geriatric, adult, or family practice settings.
  • Strong computer skills, including use of email and Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and use time effectively and efficiently.
  • Successful experience working in an environment of change.
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of both external and internal customers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
  • Logical problem-solving skills and ability to find effective solutions.
  • Willingness to be on call for facilities and clinical teams.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and ability to work well with nursing personnel and other departments.
