Construction Team Member

As a Construction Team Member with First Meridian Services, you will play a vital role in supporting project managers and construction staff in various physical labor tasks and basic non-physical labor tasks. Your responsibilities will include assisting project managers with tasks such as demolition, carrying supplies, job site cleanup, and job site organization. You will also be responsible for unloading materials and distributing them to the appropriate location as identified by project managers, project plans, or specifications.

- Clean and prepare specific areas of job sites as assigned, including cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash, and removing hazardous materials.
- Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Uphold compliance with all project safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
- Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
The position is based at Denver International Airport (DEN), which is a climate-controlled environment. The temperature, volume of noise, and exposure to the public are outside the control of First Meridian Services, Inc. The use of public spaces as provided by the airport will be required when working at DEN. The position may require evening, weekend, or holiday work. Prolonged periods of standing or walking, with the ability to comfortably climb ladders and stairs, are required. Physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina are necessary to complete jobs in various areas. The ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time is also required. Working in all weather conditions is necessary.
Pay Range: $28.00 - $35.00/hour
