Position SummaryWe are seeking a Dietitian Specialist to enhance the health and wellness of a diverse population. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence nutritional practices and improve patient outcomes.
*We cover professional dues for Registered Dietitians, including CDR fees, Academy or ASPEN annual memberships, and state licensing fees.
*TouchPoint encourages our clinical dietitians to pursue advanced certifications, offering a one-time salary increase of $2,500 upon successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead nutrition services in specialized areas, ensuring that at least 70% of responsibilities align with specific specialties such as NICU, bariatric, renal, cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, pediatrics, oncology, transplant, geriatrics, and outpatient services. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional status through accurate documentation.
- Provide training and mentorship to patient services staff and interns as necessary.
- Promote teamwork and develop effective strategies to implement innovative programs that yield optimal clinical nutrition and financial results.
- Adhere to regulatory standards set by federal, state, and accrediting bodies while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
- Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- State licensure as required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the relevant specialty area.
- Specialty certification when applicable.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
