Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Radiology Ultrasound department, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient ultrasound exams using state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identification and physician orders
  • Provide procedural information and education to patients and families
  • Acquire accurate patient histories and document in medical records
  • Perform ultrasound and related patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods
  • Operate ultrasound imaging equipment and perform quality control and quality assurance testing
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety
  • Review ultrasound images with radiologists as necessary
  • Ensure STAT requests are relayed to radiologists in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent
  • Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers
