***THIS ROLE REQUIRES ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE***

As a Personnel Management Specialist, you will play an essential role in aiding your fellow Soldiers in advancing their careers within the Army, offering guidance on promotions and future training opportunities. You will ensure that commanders across all branches receive the necessary support. Your training will encompass document preparation, drafting requests, and managing official documentation, including ID cards and tags. Additionally, you will become proficient in computer systems that maintain current personnel data.

The skills you acquire will align with Business Administration, Performance Management, and Employee Relations. Furthermore, you may have the opportunity to earn 13 nationally recognized certifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide assistance on all human resource support issues
  • Oversee all strength management and distribution activities
  • Ensure the readiness, health, and welfare of all Soldiers
  • Support postal and personnel accountability
  • Maintain emergency notification information

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • 10 weeks of Basic Training
  • 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Age range: 17 to 34 Years Old
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must comply with Tattoo Guidelines
  • No Major Legal Violations
  • No Medical Issues
