The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Medical Director to lead our Tacoma and Puyallup clinics. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of in-office providers, ensuring that they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs.
You will also be responsible for guiding and supporting providers' professional development, partnering with the Office Manager to support a collaborative and positive office community, and managing communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams.
This is a full-time role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of in-office providers and ensure they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs
- Guide and support providers' professional development
- Partner with the Office Manager to support a collaborative and positive office community
- Manage communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams
- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
- Completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or have completed a residency program in the last 5 years
- Minimum of 1 year managing a team of providers
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
- State licensed in Washington, obtained before your One Medical start date
