The OpportunityWe're seeking an energetic and passionate leader to manage our local team, demonstrating clinical excellence and practicing sustainability. As an Office Medical Director, you'll collaborate with your manager, District Medical Director, and Office Manager to solve problems, shape organizational priorities, and continually develop your management and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of in-office providers, ensuring they meet clinical standards and patient care needs.
- Guide and support providers' professional development.
- Partner with the Office Manager to foster a collaborative, positive office community.
- Manage communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams, representing One Medical to the local community.
- Owning specific office management and HR functions.
- Manage a patient panel with diverse patient needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits.
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits.
- Continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles and virtual clinical teams.
- Utilize your clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures.
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.
- Completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting or completed a residency program in the last 5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year managing a team of providers.
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date.
- State licensed in Washington, obtained before your One Medical start date.

This is a full-time role overseeing both our Tacoma and Puyallup clinics.
