The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Medical Director to lead our Tacoma and Puyallup clinics. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of in-office providers, ensuring clinical excellence, and driving sustainability. You will work closely with our District Medical Director and Office Manager to solve problems, shape organizational priorities, and develop your management and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of in-office providers, ensuring they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs
- Guide and support providers' professional development
- Partner with the Office Manager to create a collaborative, positive office community
- Manage communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams
- Owning specific office management and HR functions
- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits
- Completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or have completed a residency program in the last 5 years
- Minimum of 1 year managing a team of providers
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
- State licensed in Washington, obtained before your One Medical start date
