Role Summary:

As a Lead Financial Strategist - Financial Transformation at Augmentjobs, you will be instrumental in spearheading and executing initiatives aimed at financial transformation. This role demands a strategic mindset coupled with a robust background in financial analysis and project oversight. You will collaborate closely with senior management to drive enhancements in processes, improve financial reporting frameworks, and support strategic decision-making through insightful data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Perform comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate existing financial processes and systems. Create and deliver detailed reports on financial performance, transformation progress, and essential metrics to senior leadership.
  • Transformation Strategy: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial transformation strategies that align with the organization's long-term objectives. Identify opportunities for improvement in financial processes and systems, proposing innovative solutions.
  • Project Management: Oversee financial transformation projects from initiation to completion. Formulate project plans, establish milestones, allocate resources, and ensure timely achievement of project objectives.
  • Data Management: Supervise the collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial data to support transformation efforts. Guarantee data accuracy and consistency across various financial platforms.
  • Process Improvement: Assess and refine existing financial processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and technological solutions to optimize operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a bridge between finance and other departments to ensure alignment on transformation goals. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate project success and address any challenges that may arise.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure that all financial transformation activities adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and company policies. Establish and monitor internal controls to maintain financial integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in financial analysis, project management, or financial transformation roles. Proven success in leading financial transformation initiatives.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools. Advanced knowledge of financial systems and ERP platforms. Strong Excel capabilities and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams. Experience in managing and mentoring junior analysts is advantageous.
  • Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and requirements.
