Position Title:
Assistant Community Manager

As an
Assistant Community Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning and coordination of various community events, activities, and projects.

Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including managing office operations, handling administrative duties, and addressing resident inquiries. The time allocated to each task may fluctuate based on community needs. Occasional travel may be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Resident Relations (~40% of time)
  • Prioritize resident satisfaction and address concerns promptly with care
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to resolve resident issues
  • Organize community events under the guidance of the Community Manager
Collections (~40% of time)
  • Prepare and approve invoices and statements under the supervision of the Community Manager
  • Ensure timely rent collection and adherence to legal actions and notices
  • Maintain compliance with State and Fair Housing Standards
Sales and Leasing (~10% of time)
  • Assist in preparing homes for occupancy according to Havenpark standards
  • Support documentation preparation for new move-ins and lease renewals
Work Orders (~10% of time)
  • Oversee the completion of work orders within 48 hours of receipt
Qualifications:

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year in property management
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work extended hours seated at a desk using computers
  • Some physical tasks including walking within the community and occasional lifting of materials
