The Resident Relocation Coordinator will serve in a temporary capacity to facilitate communication, relocation logistics, renovation coordination, and record management throughout the anticipated 20-month duration of the Monterey Village Apartments Renovation project.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate Temporary Relocation for Residents and Leaseholders
  • Work with professional movers, coordinated and funded by Vesta, including timelines for moving in/out and box delivery for residents.
  • Complete inspection documentation for move-in/move-out processes.
  • Organize pre-move walkthroughs with residents to ensure readiness.
  • Assist residents with special moving requests (packing not included).
  • Ensure residents continue to pay current utilities, while Vesta covers utilities in the temporary units.
  • Coordinate inspections by subsidy provider agencies as required.
  • Manage necessary notifications.
The Resident Relocation Coordinator will prepare, deliver, and collect signatures for the following notifications. All notices will be documented, signed, dated, and filed appropriately, with tracking on a spreadsheet. Copies may be required for relevant agencies.
  • 30-Day Notice for Temporary Unit
  • 7-Day Notice for Temporary Unit
  • 7-Day Notice for Original Unit
  • Documentation of all Resident Notices to Vacate
  • Documentation of any eviction notices
  • Any other correspondence regarding tenant relocations.
  • Any additional notices as required.
  • Upload electronic copies of signed resident documents to the online system.
Management of Hotel Units and Vacancies
  • Oversee the resident relocation schedule.
  • Conduct pre-walks to ensure hotel units are clean and ready for residents.
  • Collaborate with contractors to prepare hotel and vacant units for resident relocation.
Team Collaboration
  • Facilitate communication regarding onsite activities with Property Management, General Contractors, Vesta Construction Management, Vesta Development Team, and other team members and vendors.
  • Conduct and lead resident meetings periodically throughout the construction phase.
  • Engage with vendors and city officials as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • A minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in a similar role within a management company.
  • Background check and drug screening are mandatory.
  • A clean driving record is required.
Salary Description

$65,000.00-$85,000.00/yr.
