Job Summary: We are seeking a Student Support Specialist to join our team at Rogers High School. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students of trauma and poverty, and will be able to develop and implement plans to support student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and connect with students who are struggling academically or socially.
  • Develop and implement plans to support student success, including connecting students with community resources.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to understand student needs and develop strategies to support them.
  • Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and mentoring.
  • Work with families to develop plans to support student success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with students of trauma and poverty.
  • Ability to develop and implement plans to support student success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
