Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary and junior high schools in Austin, TX. As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work with a large school district and make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention: Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in ARD meetings to determine student eligibility, consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, and maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Professional Development: Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations, and provide reports of a student's progress to parents.
  • Organizational Skills: Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school, and develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Licensure: Texas Speech-Language Pathology License
