We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hospitalist Department Coordinator to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our hospital operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, providing operational support, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our hospitalist department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage hospitalist department schedules, ensuring efficient operation and minimizing delays
  • Provide training and support to new hospitalist department colleagues and providers
  • Work closely with various health system departments to ensure coordinated workflow of patient admissions, consults, and discharges
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
