Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.
  • Applies a broad range of skills to ensure exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Provides appropriate radiation protection to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
  • May be designated as an interim shift lead in the absence of the Radiology Technologist Team Lead.
  • Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
