Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform routine and specialized sonography procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Responsibilities:- Perform sonographic examinations with a solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Recognize, prioritize, and communicate suspicious or abnormal results to healthcare providers.
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment, and executing developed clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and situations.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- Certification and licensure as a Sonographer Level I, II, or III, depending on experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Two or three certifications in specific areas, such as Abdomen, Breast, Fetal Echocardiography, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatric Sonography, or Registered Vascular Technician, depending on level.
- Sonographer Level I or II: 2 years of basic clinical and practical experience.
- Sonographer Level III: 5 years of clinical and practical experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of diagnostic sonography principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
- Proficient in performing sonographic examinations with a solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.

Pay Range:The salary range for this role is $67.20 to $83.98 per hour, depending on experience.
