The Operations and Maintenance Division of the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport is seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team. Pre-Employment Requirements

I. Position Summary
This role involves the development, coordination, and oversight of the Airport 14CFR, Part 139 compliance sub-program. The successful candidate will provide regulatory and compliance services, including program development, monitoring, training, and reporting, while assisting the operations manager as needed. The position requires performing complex analytical tasks within established procedures, exercising independent judgment with minimal supervision.
II. Essential Duties
- Designs, implements, and monitors procedures for Airport 14CFR, Part 139 certification and ongoing compliance.
- Reviews and ensures compliance with various operational plans, licenses, and permits.
- Tracks and documents aircraft activities, including compiling flight schedules and issuing notifications.
- Conducts research and analysis of data, preparing comprehensive reports for management and stakeholders.
- Addresses noise complaints and inquiries from the public and airport tenants, conducting investigations as necessary.
- Engages with tenants regarding airfield usage issues, providing guidance on regulations.
- Coordinates with community resources for special events to ensure compliance.
- Collaborates with contractors and lessees to clarify compliance responsibilities.
- Maintains adherence to regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
- Fosters effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintains regular attendance and may be required to work overtime.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; two years of college preferred, along with four years of experience in airport operations or a related field.
- Any combination of education and experience that equips the applicant with the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record. Ability to obtain an airport operator's driver's license within 30 days of hire.
IV. Skills and Abilities
Requires knowledge of airport operations and regulatory compliance, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Proficiency in data analysis and report preparation is essential.
V. Working Conditions
Incumbents may be exposed to adverse weather conditions and potential hazards associated with airport operations.
