  • Software Development: Create solutions adhering to industry standards and best practices. Your code should be designed for testability, extensibility, efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Impact Assessment: Grasp the implications of changes on the organization and its applications, as well as the broader technical ecosystem.
  • Design Solutions: Translate high-level requirements into actionable designs that fulfill customer needs while being technically robust, maintainable, and cost-effective. Identify any gaps or unclear requirements and provide clarity.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a comprehensive understanding of the technical domain, including application architecture, design, and data management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership capabilities, including mentorship, cross-functional project management, and the ability to set and execute a technical vision.
  • Extensive experience in implementing Agile and DevOps practices, including test-driven development, incremental releases, continuous integration, and deployment automation.
  • Proficient in microservices design and implementation, including migration strategies, service granularity, inter-service communication, traceability, orchestration, and failure isolation.
  • Experience with cloud migrations and operating in hybrid environments (including container orchestration, security, and serverless architectures).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience leading initiatives in Java.
  • A proven track record of identifying opportunities for improvement through new tools and methodologies, evaluating potential solutions, and advocating for their implementation.
  • Experience with transactional and race condition-resilient approaches, including database locking and distributed transactions.
  • Ability to design resilient transaction models that can withstand upstream and downstream outages.
  • Experience in implementing and operationalizing rules engines.

  • Recognized thought leader with deep technical expertise and the ability to influence and collaborate with business stakeholders to drive innovation and results.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to various audiences, including senior management.
